‘‘Black Existence’’- Series 1.

Black existence is an ongoing project exploring ‘black existence’ through functional objects, structures and melanin theory and its possible links and connections - through mainly textiles and material. Series 1 exploring instruments and melanin’s effect on how we absorb and possibly experience sound as black people. - How we exist in the world and our interactions with these functional objects. Instruments and music being a big part of our identity and culture within the diaspora.
